from 2022 to 2025 I worked at EXAR Studios as a Unity Developer making visual experiences and games. Developing for augmented reality provides unique challenges due to the challenge of projecting a game world on to a real life surface - factors such as depth, occlusion, limited user input options, and being limited to the local space of objects have expanded my ability to problem solve when it comes to developing inside of unity. Working here as also taught me to work with professional 3D artists and Technical Artists. Manipulating materials and shaders through code as well as importing models, materials and animations in to unity to set them up inside of the engine.
